Ersoy emphasized the record-breaking success of the Cinema Festival, held on September 27-28 under the leadership of the Cinema Investors Association (SİSAY), with sectoral cooperation, and the support of the Ministry. He said, "257 cinema businesses from 75 provinces participated in the Turkey Cinema Festival. 780,000 viewers attended more than 20,000 screenings in 1,500 theaters, setting a significant record. We can describe this as an all-time September cinema record."

Support for the cinema industry will reach 470 million lira
Ersoy, who demonstrated with figures that the Ministry's support for Turkish cinema has increased exponentially over the years, noted the following:
While we provided just over 16 million lira in support for 204 projects in 2005, we have increased this figure to almost 382 million lira across 408 projects by 2024. By 2025, 362 projects have already qualified for support. Approximately 470 million lira in support will be provided to these projects. Currently, we have achieved a 77 percent increase in project-based support compared to 2005.
"We will brand Turkish cinema on a global scale"
Minister Ersoy stated that Turkish cinema has reached a remarkable point not only in Türkiye but also globally, thanks to the right policies and strong support, and concluded his remarks as follows:
"Our cinema is no longer just a means of entertainment; it is one of our most powerful platforms that tells the world about our culture, identity, and stories. Our goal is to take these achievements even further, to brand Turkish cinema on a global scale, and to open up more space for our young filmmakers on international stages."
